Driven to Make a Difference

Mission Haiti

MISSION: HAITI

newgen-cycle03
The Men of NCC were honored to lead the fundraising effort to bring power back to the New Generations Ministry in Haiti.  Our brother and sister in Christ, Mike and Chris Leland, founders of New Generation Ministries who have always had a heart for the poor and the orphans, and Haiti in particular, were in critical need as the transformer leading to one of their main houses broke.  The NCC Men heard the call, raised the money, and help coordinate the instillation of the new transformer as pictured here.

The Charlie Brown Edition

It seems to me that life’s simple pleasures are always the best things to do. Waking up to snow last week filled me with a childhood joy that I’d not felt for decades. It wasn’t that I’d not seen or been in snow in recent years, but it was that I now lived in a such a place, and consequently, this was my snow.

The last time I had my own snow

The Opal House 10th Year Celebration Edition

One of the most impactful persons at NCC is Glen Barde.  He is one of my Hero’s.  I remember him coming into NCC one Sunday morning recently just radiating with God’s Glory and as I casually asked him how he was, he told me that this will be his third church service of the day…. And it was only 9 am!   But Glen starts at 6! You see, Glen has been transformed into a walking, talking testimony …
